Avadya Berman Foundation
In 2004, the Tsunami tragedy claimed the lives of 2 of our former Davidians, Paul Sender and Avadya Berman. Avadya's friends decided to create a scholarship in his memory, so that a deserving Jewish child can attend a King David school in his name. Samantha Amy Brest Endowment Fund
In 2004, one of our former Davidians, Samantha Amy Brest, passed away tragically from meningitis at the age of 19. Her mom, Felicité, established the Samantha Amy Brest Endowment fund in Sam's memory. This fund aims to provide a deserving girl with all the necessary requirements for her matric dance celebration, from the ticket fee, to the shoes, dress, make up, hair and nails. This fund combines two of Sam's passions, acts of loving kindness and fashion. If you would like to help contribute to this cause, please click here.
