Dear
In 2004, former Davidian, Samantha Brest, passed away from meningitis at the age of 19. Her mom Felicite approached the King David Schools' Foundation with the aim of perpetuating Sam's memory. As Sam loved fashion and doing acts of tzedakah and kindness, a fund was created under the auspices of the King David Schools' Foundation, known as the Samantha Amy Brest Endowment Fund, that would assist deserving learners with their matric dance preparations - from the entry fee for the dance, to the evening gown or suit. Every year the KDSF, together with the Brest family, host a brunch in the garden of the Brests' home, in which 100 guests gather for a scrumptious meal, great entertainment, beautiful surroundings, prizes and the opportunity to assist deserving learners.
This year, we invite you to join us for a morning of magical musical melodies, directed and produced by former Davidian Vicky Friedman and performed by former Davidians who are now budding or established singers.
Please see invitation below. There are also lots of prizes up for grabs!
